Side weather – Best time to visit Side

To avoid the peak season crowds and heat of July and August, the best time to visit Side is during late-April, May, June, September and early October, when temperatures range between 16°C and 25°C.

For hot weather, visit in summer from July to mid-September – temperatures often exceed 35°C during July and August.

Side has a typical Mediterranean climate with long hot summers and short mild winters.

Average highs in May reach 25°C rising to 30°C in June; July and August average 33°C with a low around 21°C at night; September sees an average high of 31°C; and October is still hot averaging 27°C.

Winter from December through January averages 13°C; December is the wettest month.

Seawater temperatures average 24°C year round peaking to 28°C in August.
