Places to avoid in November
Australia – It's extremely hot in Northern Queensland, the Top End, the Red Centre and the northern half of Western Australia. Elsewhere is fine.
Caribbean – It's mainly hot, wet and windy (except for islands outside the hurricane belt, such as Aruba).
Europe – Europe is generally cold and wet as autumn turns to winter; only Cyprus, the south coast of Spain and Portugal have mild weather and reasonable amounts of sunshine.
South Pacific – This is the start of the hot, rainy season for most of the South Pacific islands.
